Authentic icon "St. Theotokos Immortal Rose and Saints"

Characteristic of this image of the Mother of God is that the Virgin and Child are depicted extremely solemnly. Both have royal attributes, and the Virgin holds a flower in her right hand (rose), hence the name of this icon. The icon of the Mother of God "Unfading color" symbolizes purity and innocence. Therefore, girls pray to her to preserve their purity and chastity and to choose the right husband. It is also often used as a wedding icon for the bride.
